Not sure if that's how you spell that but I tried. Can't find the program right now and oh well. They said they were the oldest drum and bugle corps in existence and I couldn't prove them wrong so I believed them. They also marched in the Railroad Days parade and they are a good group to watch and to listen to. It amazed me how much equipment came out onto the field that night and how fast they got it on and off. That in itself must take a lot of practice time. As we were leaving for the night, I walked past a young man in full uniform (yes they looked hot as well) who was drinking a bottle of water. I asked how many gallons he had drunk tonight and he thought for a moment and said this is my sixth bottle of water. It didn't look like any of the performers went down due to the heat so they must have stayed well hydrated!
I thought Jerry Garcia was dead. Guess not!
