Sunday May 17, 2009, our time together was done. I enjoyed team teaching this 5th grade class with my friend, Connie, but we were finished for the summer.Here's something I learned about 5th graders:
They really like Jolly Ranchers - certain flavors that is!
They like Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies
They like most any kind of treat or snack
They like hangman
They don't like to sit next to the opposite sex
(boys on one side of the table and girls on the other side)
They always have something to say...all the time...relevant to the discussion or not
They are very competetive when it comes to word finds and tootsie rolls!
and....
They are a great bunch of kids to spend an hour with on Sunday morning!
