An annual event in St. James. This year the weather was good, last year's parade was cancelled due to rain.
Macy's first year playing the quads and they had to learn a new cadence as well.

Our special little girl, M's mom got married the Saturday of Railroad Days and was having a reception at the Hickory Inn. Emily called them to see if she would be able to go to the parade and they gave us two little girls to take along! M and J proved to be a bit of a challenge and completely wore us out by the end of the parade. Of course there was parade candy and why wouldn't you want to eat all of it at once? Or take one lick of a sucker only to discover you don't like it and then throw it in the street. And why wouldn't you teeter dangerously near the curb when the motorcycles of death are coming at you? And why wouldn't you have to go potty during the parade even though all the area businesses are closed because there's a celebration going on?? Why wouldn't you?? Like I said, we were exhausted when it was time to go to the reception!
