The costumes and props became more elaborate as the evening went on. The groups came from Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois to compete. We didn't stay long enough to see who won. I thought sitting in sweltering humidity for four hours was long enough. And bad enough until I saw some groups had two or three layers of costumes on! Another interesting thing we started to notice was that a lot of the dancers and groups were strictly men.

Yup, a trampoline fashioned into a bed. And we were amazed at how fast they got things on and off the field and ready to perform.
