Was hosted this year by my brother Curt and sister-in-law, Jennie. We had to postpone our plans for Sunday, December 21 because of a stupid blizzard so we re-scheduled for Saturday, January 3 when sleet and freezing rain were predicted! That's what we get for living in Southern Minnesota!! So we all piled in the van (yes, red jello included) and off we drove to the twin cities. Dinner was delicious - ham, cheesy potatoes, tweiback, yifna, broccoli grape salad and a whole lot of other yummy food. Several years ago, we started a tradition of playing Bingo after dinner and instead of exchanging presents with each other, we buy Bingo prizes. Whoever gets a Bingo gets to pick a prize from the stash. It goes over well and everyone enjoys some friendly competition.
