Our first camp was in "Bear Valley" which was up higher and farther away from the water than our second camp. We saw some bear tacks at "Bear Valley" but never saw any bears. Shucks! When we moved to "Bayside" camp, we were treated to beautiful wildlife every night. As the group from YWAM was speaking, there was a doe, twin fawns and two bucks that came down to the water to drink. The water was absolutley perfect for capturing their reflections. I love how these pictures turned out.
Doe and two fawns.
Next, came the impressive bucks. I'm glad they were living in the woods and hopefully enjoying themselves without any hunters to bother them. We sure enjoyed how close they came to camp. One buck seems to be checking us out as we were checking them out!
