Lucky for us the convention center was only two blocks from our hotel and easy to walk to. This is where we registered when we got to New Orleans and also the interaction center was located here. We had a scheduled day and time to have fun at the interaction center which held amazing events for the kids.
The Riverwalk center is a shopping center and food court located across from the convention center and also was along the Mississippi River. A very pretty spot.
Two of the chaperones had to attend an hour long training session before we could get registered and receive our wristbands. So the worn out group waited...
And waited...... While we waited a chaplain arrived and spoke with the group. He also offered to have the kids lay their hands on us and pray over the chaperones. It was a neat moment.
