Last year Emily and Erin were on the first floor of their dorm building. It made moving in and out pretty easy but their floor was pretty quiet. This year they are on the second floor of the same dorm hall so mom huffed and puffed and vowed to visit the gym more often and eventually we got all of her stuff up there.
Emily's bed is lofted while Erin's is just a regular bed frame underneath. It helps to have two skinny former gymnasts along to make the bed as it sits high up in the air.
Emily brought her table and chairs from her room at home to college. She said it's going to be their study table. I sure hope so...

I'm not sure if you can see the lump on Emily's bed. Yup, that's Macy! She must have been exhausted after helping to make the bed.
I just clicked on the picture to enlarge it. Macy's foot is hanging over the edge of Emily's bed - she's asleep - and Daniel is pretty comfy resting his foot on the chair that Emily just put together. Looks like we are a lot of help, doesn't it!! And obviously I'm standing in the doorway with my camera in my hand. But I at least hung up all her clothes...
There's a cute love seat to the left of the table with a black slipcover made by Erin's mom! This is a $10 entertainment center Emily found at the thrift store in Madelia. I fit perfectly in the van AND in their dorm room! Their room is actually a triple - made for three students - and the two of them are sharing it. The room really is bigger than the room they had last year. I wish I had taken a picture of the closets and dresser area. They are amazingly big. Macy could live happily in Emily's closet for months. Emily doesn't even use all the space!
