New header picture

It was time to change my header picture. I had the perfect picture in mind but because I can't find the disc that it's saved on, I put this picture up instead. I'll keep looking for the other picture that just screams "SPRING" and put that up shortly. For now, just enjoy this picture that I took of my favorite tree. It's growing in a field on county road 90 by Mankato. Why is it my favorite tree, you wonder? Good question. It's actually two trees that grew so close together they became one tree. One perfectly shaped tree. I like it. It speaks to me.

We also liked the lacy, long black dress but it would hide the shoes too much.

with Macy is a whirlwind experience. This is a girl that knows exactly what she wants. It took us about two hours to find and buy what she was looking for mostly because I asked her to try on more dresses than she wanted to. She had her heart set on this short black cute dress and I have to admit it looks pretty great on her! She also needed new, clean red Converse shoes to go with it and a skinny red tie to complete the outfit. I talked her into some pretty earrings and a necklace in case she didn't wear the tie all night long. Below are the other dresses I convinced her to try on.
This was a close second place. The picture doesn't do it justice but it's also very cute and she said very comfortable. I thought the lace was too dressy for the red Converse. ha ha
